I've got blackbirds and red wing blackbirds back at my feeders and the juncos have migrated back to Canada until next winter.

I saw my first one about a month ago, but then someone told me there is one variety that stays here all winter.

Cedar waxwings were here Friday and Saturday - they stripped 2 trees of all berries, took a couple of baths and are now headed north! They are beautiful.

Re: My Hummers are back! any others?

I pretty much have hummers all year long, as I grow many Salvias, different colors, etc., which bloom at different times of the year, so always a food supply here. They fly so close to me that I think one day, one will land on my head.

The snow was back today, enough to shovel lightly.

Anyone else?
