[Plaid Pants]

and I am already anxious.

My dad is 88, and has a leaky heart valve, that needs to be replaced. We are travelling to El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Ca to have it done.

Because he is high risk, he can't have open heart surgery.

What they are going to do, is, go up the femoral artery, force his bad valve open with a stent, and inside the (wire mesh) stent, will be the replacement valve.

The procedure is in trial right now. In fact, my dad is one of only about 2,500 people participating in the trial, nation wide. The procedure is done in 60 other countries now.

The hard part is going to be when I will have to wait in the waiting room during the procedure, waiting for the doctor to come out.

Please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers this Wednesday.
