I am so sorry for your loss.  He sounds like he was a wonderful man.  I'm so sorry his lung cancer wasn't caught early on.  It's so hard to lose a parent, especially at such a young age.  I lost my mother when she was 69 to breast cancer.  I still think of her every day.  My prayers will be with you and your family during this sad time.

It's difficult for me to understand why your father was not diagnosed with lung cancer by his doctors.  Especially since he was recently seen in May.
