It suddenly turned pink then changed to green, now there's a white background and pink and green tint with pink lines on the screen and green letters. Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it ? I unplugged the computer for several minutes, turned it back on and it's as I stated above. I'm going onto my tablet to see what's going on and if it can be fixed. check back here later.  Wierd !!

Have you Googled it? I just did. This was the first thing that popped up. If you're lucky, this will be the problem and an easy fix. If you're not lucky, you'll need to keep reading.

You may need a new one. When mine "gave up" that's what happened. Hope not.

Wow I just googled it as well and there is many different things that could have caused it.  I have never heard this happen before, I hope you are able to have a simple fix.

I have been researching this issue all day and read some of the suggestions online that are also noted here. I called a repair shop who told me I probably need a new laptop (of course!) I'm still looking at pink stripes on the screen, pink in the upper left corner, green letters, crazy !!   I have only had this laptop maybe 3 yrs ? and no other issues with it. It's a HP. I will update the resolution.
