Yes, I have had quite a few problems with damaged and broken items from QVC in the past. 

 

Poor packing materials and thin boxes, poor quality, flimsy made items, seemed to be the problem.

 

I was reading a piece by the packing industry concerned about boxes increasingly received by customers with broken and damaged items inside. They had no solution yet other than using better quality packing materials, but would retailers pay the cost.  

 

I see it is getting a 4.8 rating, the majority are part of a promotion...ie not to be trusted.  

 

The solution was to stop buying decor from QVC.

Do you have a Lamps Plus store near you? Or do you receive their catalog? I've purchased three fountains from them, and whenever there has been an issue I haven't had to box anyhthing up for return. They just send a new item/part.. It's been a good customer experience.
