This is something we all know , but it doesn't hurt to be reminded. I just got my grocery order and the amount of an item was wrong and I was really irritated. I started to look at how you report an error. Fortunately I decided to check my order and I ordered the wrong amount. I'm usually careful, but it was amount of turkey breast and you add in increments, and I didn't. It's no big deal, but if you double check it can save problems. Be smarter than me.

@QVCkitty1   Yes i know what you mean.  I occasionally use Instacart because I work from home and it's been so hot I haven't wanted to go out.  I've always had really good luck with them.  They text if there are any substitutions needed for approval but it makes the total change and then I have to double check.  They are always spot on.

I was upset with a recent Instacart order.  I recently moved into an apartment on the sixth floor and was wondering how well delivery would work.  The app said the order was delivered to my door but nothing was there.  I went up and down the hall and found my delivery with heavy items which I dragged back to my place.

I gave the guy a bad review but decided to double check my delivery instructions and I had transposed two numbers.  Ack.  I was able to correct my review.

I did that a few years ago with Instacart. Placed a Wegmans order and ordered (I thought) 2 lbs of brussel sprouts. I got a bag with 2 individual Brussels in there.  Then I checked my order and saw it was operator error  🤣

I don't mean to laugh at your expense, but that is hysterical.  Who would order 2 lonely little brussels sprouts?  This is where old fashioned common sense comes in.

I use Instacart regularly and as the original poster noted any mistakes I find are usually my fault - if it is Instacart's fault it is quickly rectified in an email that is accessible in your order.  I actually get an occasional freebie from someone else's order.

@QVCkitty1

I discovered a long time ago that I'm usually the problem, not the store LOL
