I just wnted to share with you what a wondeful woman this was. She was 99 yrs. old. Just short of turning 100 in a couple of weeks. She outlived her husband by 44 yrs. They had 4 children. They had one of their own, two were adopted and 2 were foster children whom they were able to adopt. They did not have alot of money and they lived in a small home but they were all very happy. After her husband died she had to go to work in order to keep the household running. Now after all these years she became quite ill and instead of putting her into a home my cousin opted to have live in care for her at her home . She meant the world to me and I was able to see her about a month ago and we looked through her wedding album. I was glad to have this special time with her.

@hovis,

I'm so sorry for your loss.  But I see you realized the wonderful woman she was, and I'm sure she treasured you too. That means so much to them. It was good for both of you. I'm so glad you had someone that special in your life.

She sounds like an amazing woman who led a life filled with love.   I'm from a large extended family with many dear aunts and uncles who are quite elderly now.   Each time one is called home it leaves a hole in our hearts...yet we can be so thankful that we knew and loved them.  My sincere sympathies go out to you.   Thanks for sharing your lovely memories.

I am so sorry you lost your aunt. She seemed like a wonderful person. I still mourn an great aunt who died 25 years ago (last month) at age 93. She was so special to me and how I wish she were still here! She gets *honorable mention * by me almost every day. Same goes for yours!

Image result for my sympathy to you and the family

So nice that you were able to spend some time together that way.  I'm sure it meant so much to her to be able to share her memories.

Fate whispers to her, "You cannot withstand the storm." She whispers back, "I am the storm."
