We are having problems with her.... refuses to go to school....
We thought she had a UTI..... tests - negative; then they thought she had a yeast infection. She has been itching her crotch area... they got med for it..... then she started pulling at her underwear. She has been having proablems concentrating in school and issues with hitting and being disruptive. This is not like her at all...unless she has a meltdown.
Easter Seals Project PLAY counselor advised getting a metabolic blood test.... she says Autistic children have problems with iron deficiencies... She doesn't eat red meat... but had been eating a lot of salad and etc.
Has anyone with Autistic children had issues with this?
My daughter is completely stressed out...and is very nervous about having her daughter have the blood test.
