Musicians - Alto Sax

Hello Friends,

I am considering taking saxophone lessons (again), but this time I'd like to buy my own alto saxophone instead of renting one each month. There is plenty to choose from on ebay, but I'm trying to see if there is a brand that is better than the others. Any experience, good or bad, is welcomed.
