@Kachina624 Cook County (IL) took them out YEARS ago for being dangerous...but now they are the "latest thing" around here.    And they scare the daylights out of me!

@Desertdi. Here too, even on quiet residential streets where no more than 2 cars ever appear at the same time.

 

They seem to be a conspiracy among mayor's and city managers.

@Kachina624    Scottsdale now has "flashing yellow" lights.   Never saw those any place I have ever lived.   I generally AVOID Scottsdale anyway...   di

@Kachina624   that looks similar to the cellphone towers in CA. They try to camouflage them as trees ha ha

@Kachina624 @Desertdi : My town has been busy adding them. I don't drive but still get nervous as a passenger when we start to travel one.
