Re: Moving a grave -- anyone ever done this?

@Tinkrbl44  I think the term "body" was used in a general sense, and not literally.

If you can not move your dad, how does your mom feel about her being there ,when she passes?

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Re: Moving a grave -- anyone ever done this?

A high school classmate died from cancer (on our graduation day, no less).  Many years later, her family moved back to the midwest and wanted to take Kelly with them.  The local funeral home made all the arrangements for the exhumation and transfer.  Her parents even wrote a letter to the editor thanking the funeral home for their assistance.

@goldensrbest  My mother does not want to be buried in the current cemetery based on the situation I've outlined. Now that we know we can move Dad she's very happy.
