@LTT1.  Sounds like DGS is having a highly successful school year.  At least he's doing well in math.

@LTT1   That is so cute!   Kids say the darnest things, and he is quite observant!

Reminds me when my young grand daughter asked for blond twinkies....huh...she did not like chocolate twinkies but the yellow cake ones!

While it's funny as kids really do tell it like it is, as a retired teacher and administrator, it bothers me that the teacher in question seems to be more focused on her soda and dogs than she is on her students and their learning.  If I were her supervisor, she would have changed her habits a long time ago. Those kids, as well as the parents whose tax dollars pay her salary, deserve better.

I get that you think this is funny, but I would take his assessment of the teacher very seriously. Leaving the room many times means he is missing out on learning (if the teaching is not talking about her drinking habits and pets.)

While funny, I'd keep watch on this youngster. If he's figured out how to work the hall passes, he's clever. And he even enlisted a friend, to verify his testing. What's next?

The teacher probably needs the caffeine in those cokes to keep up with this class, if he's an example. And, she probably talks about her dogs because she feels the kids could relate. Seems like he doesn't ... LOL.

@docsgirl

I hear you!

I taughttoo.

And DGS is being a bit "naughty" here in trying to outsmart the teacher. SIGH

But then, I didn't raise a boy. However, I'd have something to say about following the rules for restroom use, etc.
