Mother-first concern about memory

My mother is coming to visit. She is flying. Today we talked & she told how she put all of her cosmetics & toiletries in her carry on. She flies at least once a year & knows about the TSA rules. When I reminder her of the rules, it was as if she heard them for the first time.

My heart sank. She is 82 & this is the first I have seen more that a brief "senior moment."

Ladies, what do I start lookiong for since I live cross-country & can only visit her once a year.
