Ok this is total cute overload. This mama is determined to teach her cub to climb. Best minute and half you'll spend all day

I saw that on the new last night betteb. It's so precious watching the mom struggle but being so persistent and so patient. I hope the baby didn't fall off at the end of the video when the mama turned her back. The little one was really looking around for her to keep him from falling.
ETA - oops! I spelled bette wrong the 1st time so I fixed it!

Oh my goodness, you never think of animals having to teach their babies like this (so hands on pardon the pun) and then when you see this video they become all that more human . . . thanks so much for posting this. I truly enjoyed it!

That's adorable. I hadn't seen it until you posted it.

That is so amazing!...The Cub ended up getting a really good hold on that tree...I wish it was shown a little longer just to be sure that it didn't let go, but I'm sure Momma kept a very close watch.
Thanks for sharing, betteb!

Thank you so much for this betteb! I have to admit that I am a real wimp when it comes to raccoons. They scare the karp out of me. However, this video may help me to "get over it"!
