I remember watching it in black and white with the family on the only tv 📺 in the house.

 

I was 15 yr old.

I remember it well.  It was my son's second birthday.  All our family was there watching on TV.  My mother made a birthday cake for my son that looked like the moon with a spaceship on top.  I have a picture of the TV when they landed.  We celebrated yesterday with him, he is 58.  He has always loved space stuff.
