@bobby5   I think dens were later replaced by "family rooms."  I didn't hear that term when I was growing up.  Our den was our family room (although much smaller than all the family rooms I see nowadays.)

Yes, dens were small & cozy. Then it transitioned to large family rooms off of the kitchen. I've enjoyed sharing this memory with you.😊
