I dont know who or what it is....but those words fit you to a "T"

@Spurt   If you don't know him or what it is about, then how can you make an assessment?  LOL

It isn't about being a fighter; you just don't get it.   It's about going through hard times and not giving up because we all go through hard times and fight and not give up.

We become "veteran fighters".   We don't back down when faced with adversity; we know we will pull through eventually.

It has nothing to do with posting on the Q.

Have a great evening.Smiley Happy

I don't get it. I really don't. I feel like I'm going around in circles. So I'll let this one go & agree to disagree.

@bobby5   It's ok.  It's just a discussion.  I think valid points are made and I think some invalid points are made.

You should have been around for the thread about the little boy who knocked over a glass sculpture, caught on video.

That was a hoot and I really believed the mom was at fault for that one.

So it goes-we discuss, we debate, we argue, we shake hands and move on.

Be well.Smiley Happy

Re: Moms on phone ignoring child.

Ok, this Mother did not appear upset, wasn't crying.  I looked over once and whatever she was looking at she was chuckling.  If I had thought for on second she was upset I would not have started the topic.  In fact, I would have asked the receptionist for a piece of paper and drawn pictures with the kid or found a kid's book.  Mom was horsing around on her phone.

@Retired Legal Secretary

I sure wish you had posted that "chuckling" part MUCH earlier than now.

Re: Moms on phone ignoring child.

Maybe the receptionist really did know what was going on with the Mom, and for that reason stepped in to help with the child.  And, because the receptionist also has known the OP "for years", she thought it best to do so, as well.
