Can you expound on what you said:

"Considering I taught flying for 10 years, I don't think anything could make me afraid of flying, commercial or otherwise. It is one of the greatest joys of my life!!"

Yes, it's not every day you find you have a pilot in your midst! I'd love to hear more also.

Hey guys!!!

I have no idea who this Snaggeltooth person is but if it weren't for he/she bumping it up, I would never have seen this thread.

I would have never ignored it had I seen it.

The quick answer is that I have always loved flying. A friend took me up in a small plane years ago and I was hooked.

Despite the fact I had small children, I knew teaching is what I had to do. It took a couple of years to get all my certifications, including Flight Instructor.

I ended up teaching students to fly for about 10 years. It was one of the happiest times of my life. My DH is a flight instructor and we still fly frequently just for fun.

Thanks again for asking. {#emotions_dlg.wub}

Hey Mom......how are you sweetie?????

Just had to tell you that my late x-husband was a pilot. He mostly flew a Bonanza. He also had his ATP license, but never did anything with it..... There were many times he would take me up with him on short trips. He was a very excellent pilot, and I was never scared to fly with him. He loved flying.....think it was because he was in charge of the controls.....

Hope all is well with you......take care.......

Hi ShowMe,

Wow your hubby had his ATP license. That is no easy task. My hubby has his too and I know what it takes to get that.

How are you doing? I read you still have your 4th treatment to go through. I am not a big poster but I hope you know I am always thinking of you and pray that everything goes well.

I see your beloved Cards are doing well. My Angels? Not so much YET!! LOL

Take good care of yourself please. Smile
