Maybe it's just where I shop, but many times I wouldn't be able to pull my car out of a parking space if I didn't at least move the cart out of the way a little bit.  People tend to bring carts pretty close to their cars to unload.  How did she pull out of the space with the cart right there?  And how did she not notice her child?

 

I just don't fully understand how she didn't see the baby in the cart even if she didn't return it all the way back to where it belonged.   I also always take a last look inside a cart to be sure I haven't left any bags or whatever.  It's hard to imagine I would overlook a child.
