~ Molly is all out of kilter ~

I'm visiting my daughter and her family about 4 hours from my home. For those of you who don't know Molly's story, I've had her since July. She was a rescue from a puppy mill where she spent her first 4 years breeding. Well, ever since she got here, she's been pee *ing in the house - I got here Monday, today is Weds. and she's done it 3 times. I know her schedule is disrupted and I am taking her out a lot more often than at home to hopefully avoid all this, but my daughter and her husband have named her "the urinator." They think it's funny. I don't. I feel really badly about her doing this, but with 2 of their own dogs, it's not like it has not happened before. I clean it up and use the stuff that they gave me to take the odor and pheromones out, but I still feel bad. They don't "get" puppy mill dogs at all. This is the last time I'm taking Molly away. Next time I'll ask the Vet. Tech. to take care of her like she did when I had knee surgery. She's expensive - $50 per day - but I'm not going to put Molly or myself through this again. I feel guilty enough about this, but I can't stand to hear them make fun of her.

Thanks for letting me vent.
