I'm sure this has been asked and answered before.

I constantly see different models.  Some are much better than others.

Does anyone know why there are so many different models and if they are trained...or not?

Remember the model Joy @Annabellethecat66 ? She opened up a modeling agency and I think the majority of models at QVC come from her agency.

I remember Joy and I knew that she provides the models when it was the same ones.

However, there are so many new ones constantly showing up, it's hard to believe she has that many in her agency.

It's as if someone sees a lady on the street walking by and a QVC person asks if they want to model for a day.

Some are definitely better than others.  Some are like the way I'd be...no training and all.

Some don't seem to be physically suited to be trying to entice people to buy clothes they are wearing.  They are not well proportioned and don't look good in the clothes.  I can think of one who has no waist whatsoever.

I'm sure standing before the camera and staying awake is harder than it looks.  Very boring job.

Many of the ladies have other jobs, modeling and others.  One is an RN so QVC is a "side hustle" for her.  That why it takes so many.  They work an hour or two then move on and somebody else replaces them.

Have never questioned models but have just assumed they are and have a mixed group of pros and the everyday people like us - sure hope so.

We've certainly seen some blossom and I love that.  I would love to see even more interface with us ( hosts).
Especially shoe models - it would be great if they could take a few steps (just like we lay folks would if we were in a store).

Thank you for any consideration.

Yes, most of those I'd classify as professional models appear to be gone.

Quite a few look like they were plucked off the street, are poorly fitted and styled, and none represent my size, so I wouldn't buy anything I see them wearing.

Some of the models on HSN wear clothing that are so ill fitting and too tight especially when modeling pants, leggings that leave nothing to the imagination, not appealing, JMO.

None of us here would have any first hand knowledge about the hiring practices of the QVC models.
