For the first time in the 2 years that I've been a member of Walmart + , my grocery delivery went to another house. It is aggravating, but I contacted the chat and my refund was issued plus a 10.00 credit for my trouble. That was at 9 AM, I got home at about 4:00 and my groceries were on the porch . The frozen food was thawed and my meat was warm. I guess the person it was delivered to brought it . I wish that they had just kept it, because now I feel somewhat guilty for getting a refund, but if a portion  of my order is unusable, it would just be confusing if I report it now. I'm just venting, because I'm an honest person who is somewhat conflicted. Thanks for listening.

@QVCkitty1  -  I would report exacty what happened and ask Walmart what they want you to do.  I would not feel right not reporting it and keeping something that I already was given a refund.

@QVCkitty1   This situation was out of your control...try not to feel badly about it. Most likely, the store will not accept the food as a return anyway.

I doubt anything would change if you reported it, they aren't going to try to figure out hat is non perishable etc.  Don't feel bad just give the next person a bigger tip to pay it forward.

@spumoni99 That's what figured. Now I discover that 2 of my items are missing, so this order is a wash.

@San Antonio Gal. Once it has been misdelivered and handled by another non - employee, Walmart will not take it back and they issue a refund.

I got my small order once plus someone else's large order, called and they told me to use or donate it.   It was a pain because I didn't have room for it all,  including a couple gallons of milk and 3 heads of iceberg lettuce.  I did discover a couple of new products that I still use.

I am aware that Walmart will not take food back, but my point was to report an update to the situation.

@San Antonio Gal.  They couldn't care less.  They find it was misdelivered when the other customer calls for a refund.

@QVCkitty1  Since it was misdelivered and you already received a credit, you have nothing to report.  I would let it be.

Does Walmart take a pic of the delivery?

I wouldn't feel bad in this situation with a food order.
