I'm sorry if this has already been posted but I thought it was worth posting again.

What a joyful Thanksgiving this family is going to have. He was missing for over a week and found safely in Ohio today.

I just wish they had some solid leads on the boy who disappeared from NY about 6 weeks ago.....I don't even see it in the news anymore....so sad. This kid could be anywhere in the US and his story should be plastered all over the news.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- It's now been seven weeks since the disappearance of 14-year-old Avonte Oquendo, who was last seen running out of his school in Long Island City, Queens, on October 4.

Still, his family is standing by its vow to find him.

Crews will be out again Friday to continue looking for him.

Since the search began, police say they've received hundreds of tips from the public and reviewed hundreds of videos for any clues.

In response to his disappearance, New York City school officials plan enhanced security training for staff members.

"It's tough, it's just a tough situation right now," dad Daniel Oquendo said. "But we're hoping for the best."

The reward for information leading to his safe return is up to $95,000.
