I expected that....from day 1 of the trial.   There was no evidence it was all "he said/she said" and there is no way in this world that 12 jurors would all vote guilty or not guilty on that.  No way.   I assume the prosecutor will retry the case.  I hope they have some real evidence next time.  If they don't, there will be another mistrial.  I do wonder why the Cosby faction is celebrating and criticizing the process and the judge when they haven't won anything, they just didn't lose.    It isn't over.

One big factor is that the judge only allowed one other woman to testify. How many had the same or similar stories?

Does anyone know how many males and  females were on this jury?   Ethnicity mix of the jurors?

I already replied on the other thread, but I am still wondering about Bill's wife Camille. I think she only showed up one day of the trial. I am curious if this is mainly a marriage of convenience or if she actually supports his "innocence." Doesn't he have at least one child out of his infidelity to her? I guess the money and the lifestyle are worth it to her?

He has one child Autumn whom he "supported" for 20 years financially.  He convinced the child's mother not to name him on the birth certificate.

Camille must enjoy the status and the money more than her reputation...

When I think of this trial I think of the program BULL.  I wonder how much research goes into picking the jury.  It seems this could go on forever from one mistrial to another.  All it takes is one juror to hold out.  I wonder if we will hear from the jurors and what went on.

@Tinkrbl44  It is ashamed to think the jury make up mattered or would matter but that is the way it is.  That is why I am wondering how they are going to pick the next jury.  Not too many people around who have not heard about it or have not formed an opinion.

Re: Miss-Trail in Cosby Case

It would be interesting to know who and why: was the majority FOR the guilty verdict and by what percentage? Was the majority FOR the non-guilty verdict and by what percentage? What was the reason the minority in either case felt that way?

Did the race of jurors make the difference? Did the sex? Who knows though I'm sure there will be those who will delight in feeding on stereotypes in order to make their argument.

@RainCityWoman  After the trial one of Bill Cosby's spokesperson's read a letter written by Camille.  She was very negative about the judge being on the side of the prosecution and the media among other things.  She apparently is very much standing with her husband.
