I read the link posted here. Not sure what to think. This just happened last year so it's not as if this happened years ago and she's grown or learned from that incident.

I also don't like the fact that the pageant officials are basically saying that people should be focused on her academic achievements instead of this. Doing well in one area of your life doesn't negate the bad things you've done.

Three in a row from New York and let me just put it out there that Miss Virginia (the first runner up), who was lovely, got robbed... I love New York, but this girl was beyond annoying and struck me as a complete phony. I don't tend to do the pageant thing, but was switching channels and saw a bit of this 'contest'.

I think many of us find the occasional deep-sixing of one of our comments or threads...

Sometimes it's because the board PTB consider them controversial and sometimes it's because other posters don't like them and so 'report' them. One hopes that those that are 'reported' are reviewed for content rather than just precipitously deleted because another poster took exception to something said...
