Misc./for fun question. Where do all those balloons end up that have been launched

over the years?? Kind of like that old message in a bottle thing. We had school kids do that once. No responses ever that I know of if messages were put in any, don't recall. I'm sure it has to do with wind and all that. Science was not a strong suit of mine. Wonder how far they go.

Has anyone ever done this with some results?
