@JillyMarieWhat a great post!  Loved wearing hats to church and, especially, on Easter. Would have loved to have had a pretty hat for mom's memorial service last summer. It would have been appropriate for a woman who was always dressed to the nines.   Noticed many of these hats at the Royal wedding yesterday. Have seen them in the cathedrals when vacationing in Europe (had to check out those hats as well as everything else!).

ETA:  Hmm.  The more I look at this dress the more I like it.  I'll bet it looked very nice in person with the orange/coral shoes picking out the same color in the skirt of the dress.

I'm glad the invites requested hats - it make it totally British and such fun to see.

Much more fun than viewing Hollywood's red carpet. Remember Cher's headgear - that was fun.
