Philip Treacy designed the notorius facinator wore by Princess Beatrice. I thought it would be fun to look at his newest creations. The third one from the left in the fifth row has my name all over it.

@JillyMarie Thank you for posting! I love many of those hats, but would never have anywhere to wear them.

A couple of those looked very similar to what Camella and Kate wore to the wedding yesterday.

I don't care for most of those hats, but the fedoras are very cool looking. I like the baseball cap for the guys too and would buy one for my son. When I was a kid we had 2 millinerary shops in our town. Most people wore hats to church, it was a must for the Catholics back then. Also, the Easter Parade was a really big deal in our town. The shops went out of business in the early 80's.

The women's hats are beautiful, real works of art. I would not have an opportunity to wear any of them but they are fun to look at. Thanks for sharing.

That is a fabulous hat and an equally fabulous color on a blonde. I don't much care for the rest of the dress. Too much going on.

ETA: Hmm. The more I look at this dress the more I like it. I'll bet it looked very nice in person with the orange/coral shoes picking out the same color in the skirt of the dress.
