Re: Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight tonight

[ Edited ]

It's a documentary but I think it was well done. It was exciting to be part of it and the only way my name would ever be movie credits! LOL!!!

Wouldn't that be a dream bout!!! I  know nothing about boxing but we ( meaning my boss) is a fan, we made a movie about it  ("The Good Son-the Story of Ray Boom Boom Mancini").

@We rescue cats  I'll definitely check out that movie! I have Ray Boom Boom Mancini's boxing exercise VHS tape that he made in the 80's 😃. He was an amazing boxer.  I love boxing- I trained in boxing throughout high school.  Boxing is such a great workout and so empowering!

Re: Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight tonight

@JFD12   I was nervous too; you'd think I knew him personally by how I felt!  haha

Was disappointed that Mike didn't knock Jake Paul out in the first round.  I thought he looked great in the ring (in the beginning), but his age was showing as the match wore on.

I guess he held his own, which is saying something for a man his age.  Still, he's MIke Tyson -- I expected more and better.

Was glad to see that JP was gracious.  That was more of a surprise than anything.

I thought all of the other 3 bouts were more exciting.

Isn't Tyson a bit old for a fight?

Yes, he's 58 and hasn't been in a professional boxing match since 2005.

Jake Paul is 27.

Re: Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight tonight

We believe it was all for $$$ and show. Paul would've knock Tyson out in round one but they needed to go the distance for the show.
Netflix got overloaded we got booted out for a minute. We were texting with our son he said the coverage was bad for him to. Kept freezing and grainy. Probably too many watching the show 🥹

Each to their own but always found it a primitive and barbaric enterprise...

Never could understand Tyson talking.

@stevieb  gather you haven't watched any of the

Gladiator films. Russell Crowe, in his heyday was great.  This guy in Gladiator 2  is the wrong choice. He's flat.  I'll probably still watch it, but, the new choice

is not good looking, not muscled out. He looks like the guy next door.
