Yes, I haven't heard his name in a long time, too. 

 

The bossa nova sound in this song reminds of the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Astrud Gilberto that we heard in the '60s.  Ah, what an alluring sound that was...

Though born in 1958....recall my Mother playing his records as well other music of the 1960's. Something so magical with the music back then.
