I hope not! Have not seen it. Do know where I would like to see him!

Michael Vick served his time and learned from his mistakes. He is older and wiser. At the time of his conviction chicken fights were still legal in some states. Not everyone grows up with an appreciation for the life of animals. Michael Vick knows what he did was wrong and shown growth. The lack of forgiveness expressed on this message board is sad to read.
Chicken fights? He was convicted of facilitating dog fights. He even drowned and hanged some of them that didn't perform well. I read a lot about him at the time that this happened and just Googled him to make sure I had my facts correct.
Maybe I'm not understanding you and chicken fights is another term for dog fights??

greed won out. Money to be made. I remember Mr. Vick was very contrite and the media stated that the issue of heinous dog fighting was cultural and that Mr. Vick did not know better. Amazing how money can paint someone as lily white.

What? Chickens don't matter, don't feel pain?

Why would a chicken being fought till the death be any different than a dog???
Chickens, cows, calves, pigs, many treated poorly, then slaughtered.
Their miserable existence over....for your dining pleasure.
What Vick did was no worse than if you grabbed a drumstick from a Kentucky Fried Chicken bucket.*
*KFC just used as an example. Many meat and poultry producers do not worry about humane treatment of animals.

There is no excuse, nor do I have any forgiveness, for anyone who tortures an animal or child. PERIOD

It was dog fights, not chicken fights... And sometimes, outside of sainthood, forgiveness for something so intrinsically ignorant, cruel, depraved and mean spirited is hard to come by...
I know it was dog fights. But chicken fights were still legal in parts of America. Do you place more value on and have more empathy for the suffering of one animal over another? Do you protest the cruelty that cows and pigs endure before and when they slaughtered to become our dinner?
I love dogs and had one for nearly 14 years. But I will not hold Vick's actions against him for the rest of his life. Vick has worked to make amends for his actions. He has a right to make a living for his family in his chosen profession.

As others have said Strahan appears in St Jude commercials. I've only seen a Shriner's commercial featuring children who have been treated at a Shriner's hospital and some staff members. will.i.am is a supporter of Shriner's though, maybe that's who you've seen?

We are a country of contradictions. At the time of Vick's conviction and public backlash people could still legally conduct chicken fights in some parts of the country. The animals that serve as our sources of meat are often held in horrible conditions. Their slaughter is often cruel and crudely done. But we ignore it. People often hunt for sport and not out of a need for food. But puppies and kittens are different.
I will not treat Michael Vick like a pariah for actions he has already been punished for. People are more than their pasts. Vick has lived a quiet life with his family without controversy since his release. He has been liked by his fellow players. I will not sit in judgement of him forever. Forgiveness is not just an abstract thing for me.

If he hadn't been caught, he would still be involved in dog fighting.

How can you possibly know what Vick or anyone else would have done?
