@classic, do you know for a fact that those named have NOT donated to the cause? Regardless, it's really up to each individual to make that decision.

Those who do decide to help should be applauded; those who don't should not be publicly shamed. It just seems so contrary to the whole idea of charity.

I hope people know a lot of donations, big ones, come from those people. Zuckerberg already donated a million, with more to come. How about others like the Koch bros and their friends? Also another billionaire I can think of, too.

Koch Industries donated $1 million also. corporations have been very forthcoming. i posted a link to a long list. @Noel7

Perry donated a quarter of a million to the church, not a person. The church is specializing in providing diapers for babies and toddler victims of the flood.

Perry also donated another quarter of a million to a different pastor in Houston. The remaining half million has yet to be designated.

I am not a fan of the first pastor mentioned, but I am a fan of diapers for babies.

@Noel7 i also read that Walmart has a tiered gift of up to $20 million. Texas has been a good market to a lot of companies. it is good when it is recognized that it is a 2-way street.
