Mexico had earthquake

8.4 magnitude, within the last hour. Tsunami possible. Don't know much else yet.

The poster who replied to me has vanished. How odd.

Re: Mexico had earthquake

I saw that post.

She asked if the tsunami warning was going to effect California.

Re: Mexico had earthquake

Yes, she said she wondered if it would. I hope that wasn't meant to be a question to me. If so,I feel bad for not answering her, even though I didn't know. I took (mistook) it as a rhetorical question.

I was roaming the net, looking for info as none of our 24/7 news networks were covering it, and it's a big deal. 8.4 and shallow is huge.

That is a huge quake...I cannot imagine. What is going on everywhere? Thanks garmer for the info.

.......

How do you 'disappear' ?....... can a post be completely removed with no residue here ?

Re: Mexico had earthquake

Apparently. It was just gone. Couldn't have been removed by mod as it was only a few words about a tsunami, nothing controversial at all.

When you click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner of your post, one of the options in the drop-down box is thst you can delete your own post.

Apparently that's what she did.

Why, I don't know, as there was nothing wrong with her question.

@garmer

Was the earthquake centered near a major city .... or what?
