This is from CBS Denver:

"Mesa County Public Health believes norovirus is to blame for the sick students and staff. The primary symptoms are vomiting and diarrhea."

Students and staff will return to school after Thanksgiving.

LOL I just read this about the Princess Cruise Sun Princess:

"The final day of a Princess Cruises sailing was marred when a norovirus outbreak forced some 2,000 passengers to evacuate in Singapore on Wednesday".

Wonder if they have souvenir T shirts like they have for sale on all the islands "My grandparents went on a cruise (and got norovirus) and all I got was this lousy T shirt" LOL

There's a big 'international' airport in Grand Junction. Lots of people in and out  of there...the virus could have come from anywhere.

I heard on the news they think it is a norovirus but doubt they are sure just yet. What a terrible way to begin the holidays.

Easy to see how it spreads so fast in schools...I used to take antibac wipes and wipe down the tops of the desks in my classroom once or twice a day....some other teachers teased me about it...but once you land in the hospital because of the flu, you do what you can.
