Men's Shirt Top Button & Tie

I've seen this quite a bit: the top shirt button is left undone and the tie is just a tad loose at the neck. Is this the latest? I find it an unpolished look. JMO

Rick has it that way right now.

My DH wears his that way most of the time. The button bothers him. He does try to keep the tie up close so that it is not real noticable.

Had to look.....his shirt is too small! The cuffs aren't even long enough. As a "QVC behind-the-keyboard" stylist (!), I would've put him in dark denim jean, white button down & a navy sweater (the kind w/ a qtr zip & standup collar). Mid-day, relaxed, but crisp. Bring the jacket/tie out around 5pm.

I like a man to look a bit "unpolished", it looks more comfortable.

Gosh, you guys have a much keener eye than I have. He looks very nice to me. Not crazy about the shoes, but they do look comfortable. I agree with Rick….they kind of look like bowling shoes!
