That TSV is really nothing special at all. Has some irritating ingredients in it and the collagen building ingredients it does have are housed in jars and you will lose efficacy every time you open it not to mentioned contamination.

Take a look through here. I don't know what type of product you are looking for but I trust her reviews and they are based on science and research. I will check back later to see if you have more questions.

Thanks so much, Irishgrl!!!!

It is so hard to wade through the myriad of products out there. I have sensitive skin and am leery of everything.

Have you tried any products from Paulas Choice? Particularly from her line for sensitive skin or skin with rosacea? Her products are free of fragrance which can be very irritating for sensitive skin. You can order samples too.

Long list but I'll check it out, thanks for the post.

Irishgirl, do you like the nuface....or any other gadget for home use?

Jannabelle, I really like the Suzanne Somers Facemaster. I have one at home and it is very similar to the microcurrent machine we have in our office. I bought mine maybe in 2004 or 2005. It doesn't do anything to improve the actual texture of the skin but it does work to keep the muscles in shape.

The thing is you have to use it weekly or you lose the results. I have used it on one side of my face and you can absolutely see the difference in raising droopy areas like the eyes and lips. It smooths out fine lines. It raises my eyebrows by a good 1/4 of an inch.

I brought my machine in for the doctors and plastic surgeon to take a look at, showing them how similar it is to our huge machine in the office. They all tried it out and were pretty impressed. I am good personal friends outside of work with the doctors wives and several of them got this machine (for home use so they didn't have to go into the office each time they wanted to use it) and they love it and use it about 3 to 4 times a week. I use mine between 2 and 4 times a week too and I can see a visible difference when I don't. I look more awake and lifted when I use it.

I have not tried the Nuface but I believe this is the same principle. While I can't give you my opinion on the Nuface I can absolutely say that the Facemaster for me has been well worth the money. I actually do want to get the newer version but mine is almost 10 yrs old and it still works great.

Melania2, I really think you should give Paulas Choice a try. I will say that this company has the absolute best customer service of any skin care or makeup company I have experienced. They have live Chat representatives that can help you to pick which product would be best for you. They have decent prices and you can be absolutely sure that all of the products are the correct pH for whatever type of job they are supposed to do. An example would be that the cleansers are 5.5 (the correct pH for cleansing) and the chemical exfoliants are between 3-4, which you would be surprised how many chemical exfoliants on the market are too high or too low a pH to correctly exfoliate. All of her products are free of fragrance and don't have irritating essential oils that not only irritate sensitive skin but also impede growth of collagen (essential for firming the skin) because of irritation.

They do have samples but you can also be sure if you order products and have a problem with them you will have no trouble returning. You can order an entire set of skincare (cleanser, toner, exfoliant, moisturizer w SPF, and moisturizer without SPF) for around $100. That is not a bad price and all of her products contain cell communicating ingredients and antioxidants. This kit is a great deal and contains everything you will need. It is a great anti-aging kit but if you are looking for something different let me know and I will help you out with it or you can speak by CHAT with a PC rep and they will let you know exactly the products for what you are looking for. Take a look at this though and see if this interests you.
