When he was first born, my son was bald as an egg...then curly blond hair. Now he's got so much dark and curly hair, he looked like a mountain man. Plus a beard that makes him look like he's in ZZTop.

I told him and he was not pleased.

At two years old I had curls.  By the time I reached ten years old all the curls were gone and I had a few waves ... which I later ironed a few years later.  Heaven forbid I have ANY curls when I wanted to look like Cher.  

It's my experience that hair doesn't always stay exactly the same ... especially when it turns grey ...

ITA, but years ago when we devoured all the fashion magazines every month, the photos of models were AIR BRUSHED and made to look better than they actually did.  Remember those? 

For a while, we didn't even know they were air brushed.  

Then came Photoshop.

Then came AI.

There's probably even more than I've never heard of.

Exactly.  Remember Diane Keaton.  She appeared at the Golden Globes - with wrinkles and was touted for not being ashamed of her aging face.  But then, she was also the "face - heavily airbrushed with no wrinkles" of L'Oreal.  If you ever believed those face cream ads, this would change your mind quickly.

It COULD be real but touched up.

Even Saint Kate Middleton has posted photos of her kids that she personally touched up. 

Last year there was a big brouhaha about that and the Associated Press removed the photo.

Of course no one here criticized Saint Kate when she touched up her kids' photos.  Apparently, that was perfectly okay.

This morning a headline popped up saying Meghan was sharing a photo of her and Lilibet....on her newly-edited website that has the new name on it. Ever-After instead of the longer name ( I forgot since I don't follow her). I was curious so I clicked and the webpage came up and showed Meghan and a child walking in a field...but the photos are so miniscule here is no way to identify either of them. The child looks like she has blond-ish hair.

I read somewhere that both of the children are losing the red in their hair that they were born with. My son was born a tow head. The lightest color of blonde possible. Bu the time he was almost three his hair began changing color to the medium brown he has today. Along with a bit of gray, lol.
