@Sweet_Serenity, I stated that I got a "Wallis Simpson vibe" from Meghan. It had nothing to do with her politics and world views. I meant it as I believe, like Simpson, Meghan is a social climber. Her marriage to Edward was a disaster, and sadly, IMHO, I don't see this ending well for Harry either.
Really?! Meghan social climber. Meghan long before meeting Prince Harry already climbed the ladder of success. Your reasoning makes no sense.

@GSPgirlwrote:I find it interesting that a super feminist woman would leave her high paying job to join a very sexist organization called the Royal Family. She’s told what to do, how to dress and what to speak about. Wait until she marries Harry. The Firm always has the last say. She is no different than Diana or Sarah.
@GSPgirlwhat you say has a lot of truth. Meghan though probably has a higher IQ yet they they all ended up in the same place meaning the monarchy. Will be interesting to see how it works out for Meghan one who is motivated by pure love willing to give up career and citizenship. Hope she likes the spice girls. I bet she didn't see that one coming. She needs to fasten her seat belt.
Meghan and Victoria Beckham are best of friends. They were before Harry. She is one of Meghan's fashion consultants.
@Nonametodayshe certainly gets around! How fun for her and Harry.

Harry and Meghan, Introduced by mutual friends. Victoria Beckham indeed one of several close friends to Meghan. Inner circle of friends thought the match perfect.

She made a mistake and has already probably been corrected when she
signed autographs and hugged the people behind the ropes.
Royals, do not sign autographs.

Personally, I think she was put in the public's eye way before she was ready. Needs a little more royal training. I think she is "too eager" and it shows. Maybe she will settle down and remember her place is two steps behind her royal.

Comparing WS to Meghan wrong on so many levels. WS Nazi supportive same with Edward. Thankfully he abdicated. England and the world might not be here.
@Sweet_Serenity Exactly. There are photos of them with HItler and they also stayed in Spain at a suspected German ally at one point during WWII after leaving France.
They strongly felt that Germany was the key to wiping out Communism. I'd like to know how the slaughter of millions of Jews and other "undesirables" fit in.

You get a Wallace Simpson "vibe"? Really?
There've always been many divorces (and infidelities) by royals along the way .... it happens to many couples, like it or not. This is nothing new.
Charles, Anne and Andrew have all been divorced. When Charles succeeds his mother, he and Camilla will be divorced people who were also flagrant adulterers. Will the Brits care? Most people seem to accept modern change and that divorce happens 50% of the time. There's never any guarantee that any marriage will continue to be a loving one.
When people accuse Kate or Meghan of being so-called "social climbers" they never say what they think should have been a more appropriate alternative. NO ONE put a gun to either William or Harry and forced them to fall in love and propose to Kate or Meghan. Whether you like it or not, the men decided who they wanted to be with.
Thinking back, it always appeared that young single royals knew a lot of people around the world, and crossed many social circles before selecting a mate and settling down. If any of them took a liking to anyone outside that small incestuous inner circle in England, does that always mean that they were "social climbers" ?
Sorry, but I think the "social climber" accusation is nothing more than a lot of baloney.

Uh, Meghan was in the public eye long before she ever met Harry.
Two steps behind her royal? Good grief. The fact that she doesn't behave like a Stepford Wife is a huge plus, not a minus.
IMO, neither Kate nor Meghan should behave like Stepford Wives. (look up the movie if you don't understand the reference).

Once again, Mutual friend's introduced them. Harry said he knew within minutes she was the one for him. How much Diana would love Meghan. Nay sayers will always be negative. No matter Meghan's education and humantian achievements. Doesn't matter what they think. Doubt Harry and Meghan read the boards. ![]()

I thought I read somewhere that Victoria Beckham never wanted to revisit the spice girls feeling like it was a mistake and embarrassed by it. Their last reunion apparently required much coaxing and when she finally agreed felt not good about it. I think if the spice girls do come back together and sing at their wedding, it will take more coaxing and she may refuse. @Sweet_Serenity
