Mediterranean Cruise

Leaving out of Barcelona. Pickpockets and such . . . how rampant is this and at various ports in the Med? Planning for next June. Inlaws were on one of the metro trains and in broad daylight one tried unzipped MIL's bag/purse and she slapped his hand. Also going to spend a week in Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland . . . were there for two weeks a few years ago, felt perfectly safe there.
