Although I'm not new to the community boards, I read them, but don't post much. I just found the pet one. I have 4 cats and one has been sick and has to be medicated. I found a pharmacy, through my vet, that will formulate the medicine into a liquid and make it tase like fish or chicken! They also will make the medicine, if they can, into a transdermal medication that can be given by rubbing it into the cats ear flap, (not the ear canal). This includes a medicine called metronidazole which is a common cat antibiotic that is so bitter it will make the cat foam when you give it to him/her. Two of my little fur babies are on medication on a regular basis. The meds that can be put on the ear flap makes it soooo much easier both on me and the cat. Your vet has to call them with the script, and request transdermal then the pharmacy will call you for payment and shipping info. My pets meds get here in about 2 days (or sooner if you want to pay extra, I've had them shipped overnight before). This place is a blessing..look them up online it's Wedgewood Pharmacy and they will ship anywhere. This place is a blessing if you have a pet that needs meds. I don't work for them or anything, I just wanted to pass on this info, cause I know how it is to have an ailing fur baby, and how you worry about them getting the meds they need.
