Medicare benefits

Has anyone received their mailing from Social Security re the monthly benefit amount to be received next year? My neighbor tells me she got her letter in November but I have not received a notice yet. Our mails this year have been horrendous so I'm just wondering if mine went missing to who knows where.

@chlema You can check online if you have an online account set up and the info is printable. This is the Social Security website.

If you don't want to keep the online account you can close it out after you get the info you need.

@chlema The Social Security website will also outline all your deductions such as your Medicare premium and if you have any other plans such as a drug plan.

You will see your 2.8% increase gross amount, deductions, and what your net check will be each month for 2019.

I received my notice a couple of w eeks ago, my husband received his yesterday so they are still being mailed out. I wouldn't be too concerned right now but, as others said, an online account will give you the info if you need it immediately

I haven't received mine either. My sister got hers about 2 weeks ago. She got her new Medicare card way before I got mine. Just got mine about 2 weeks ago. Used it for the first time this week when I had to go in for my port flush.

Did get my update for my Supplementary coverage. It only increased $8.00 per month. That was not a big increase. Waiting for the payment booklet and envelopes to come separately. Haven't gotten how much my prescription coverage will be yet.
