I  could listen to his music all day and then watch Rocky Horror Picture Show next.  He had quite the voice.  I guess that makes 3 now with Betty on 12/31, Bob on 1/9 and now Meatloaf.

Just got home from work and saw this.

So glad I caught his show here in Albuquerque.  Great concert, great talent.

I had forgotten about Yevette earlier this week and had not heard about Louie.  This is way too many.

He had a three range octave. If you haven't heard his version of the National Anthem, give it a listen. They played it on my local radio today and I got goosebumps. He was spot on every note and kept in key all the way through.

Whitney Houston is still my number one version but his is now my second.

Sad to hear this.  Watched an interesting interview with him about 2 weeks ago on Vice (I think).  My husband and I saw him perform 3 or 4 times in the 90's and loved each show.  Of course I am in the generation of the Rocky Horror Picture show so I go a long way back with his music.
