Don't know why most folks won't grow a brain. Progress has come a way for a reason and that includes vaccines. Eradicating any and all illnesses and diseases should be the goal of humanity. I think some folks are primitive and just plain backwards.

I would think there is much greater risk from having the measles than having the vaccination.

What's scary is the first measles vaccine isn't given until 12 months. A lot of babies can be exposed, and it's very dangerous.
