Just wondering.............Were K-9 search dogs available to follow/track her scent?

Just to rule out the child wandering off by herself.

Did anyone catch how the mccans had madaleine pajamas, and showed them to the public ? I remember seeing her holding them and saying that these were the pajamas she was wearing....they also were the correct size. I also think it was an accident, just to many mistakes made. they should have taken the mccanns phones and the friends phones and checked calls, and checked the friends rooms with dogs also. That Gerry guy is just creepy to me, the friends also not so nice people...david payne.

'Revelation moment': Police revealed a major breakthrough when a British father came forward to reveal he was the man who for six years had been considered the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case.

Evidence: The girl seen at 9.15pm wore distinctive pyjamas and the prime suspect also brought these to police to prove his innocence.

@BSurLife65 There was no trial because the evidence is not etched in stone.

No matter what is disclosed in any of these documentaries, the FACTS remain that there simply is not enough IN THIS CASE to try these parents.

Even if there is a whiff of guilt, the prosecutors have to be absolutely sure they have enough to try these parents.

I suspect had there been a trial, and the parents were absolved, people would still be going on about how they are guilty. The dark cloud of suspicion would always follow them no matter what.

People WANT them to be guilty because they feel their own parenting skills are superior to the McCanns.

Look at the remarks kicking at these parents right from the start-sometimes people will try to "fit the evidence" to something innocuous instead of using established facts as evidence.

Theories are everywhere; but theories are just that-theories. And those "in the know" with books and other types of media are as reliable as an imaginary friend.

Whether others have been tried and/or convicted on much less "evidence" has nothing to do with this case. Such comparisons do nothing to get to the bottom of Maddie's situation.

Whether the McCanns are guilty or not, they are living with the knowledge of what they did or didn’t do....either way, it has to be tormenting them....and they will answer to a higher power one day. That poor little innocent girl....I can hardly think of her without a tear.

I agree...many times when i have watched kate speak, i get the feeling she would like to say what really happened.

@Cakers3 Sorry I just don't understand your points or position. Maybe we agree more than disagree, but it's irrelevant. Our opinions mean zilch as to the facts of Madeleine's alleged disappearance. As in most high profile human events there are many layers of Truth, or often no Final Answer. It's interesting to debate and share ideas, right? (it's ok, you can have the last word if you want).

I've said everything on the McCann topic that I wanted to say.

As many of us stated months ago, we are very well-informed and have a different opinion. I covered this story for a major television network, and I can assure you that I came to my own conclusions based on my own in-depth research as well as reporting and research done by my colleagues. Other posters here are knowledgeable about it too.

You're entitled to your own opinion, and sharing it is fine. But there's no need to be condescending.
