@cherry Are you referring to the Top Portuguese Investigator? He got too close to charging the parents, was fired after a long career, he wrote a bood outlining his theories based on evidence, then was sued by the McCanns for defamation. His book was removed from Amazon, I'd sure like to read it.

@cherry They were shell shocked that their sedated daughter died accidentally when they were out drinking and having fun. None of their 'circle' had the same story for that night, they kept changing their versions.

The "Kate and Gerry Show" has been all over the world, they try to defend themselves but made too many verbal and physical mistakes. I used to feel sorry for them UNTIL I read and watched more FACTS and listened to them talk. They were treated like royalty with millions of pounds to spend on.....what? Lawyers, lawsuits, travel, etc? Watch the YouTube videos and dig a bit deeper, you may see the McCanns in a new light.

Seriously, that clinched it for me and fit with the other evidence.

Most other people would end up in prison with that much EVIDENCE or LACK THEREOF.

Sympathetic people often know only part of the facts, give benefit of the doubt and defend. I wish there had been a trial.

This is somewhat similar to the missing child in Florida. That little girl. The parents said the door was left unlocked, someone came in and took their baby daughter, who was never seen again. The authorities thought they were involved, but could never prove it.

I dont think they are guilty. I cannot believe they left the door unlocked to all the rooms to make it easier for the parents to check on them during their dinners!!
