Out of curiosity, what do you put on your sandwiches?

Pasta salads?

I have a friend, that dips her her potato chips, in mayo😈before you faint, she rarely eats potato chips. But, she loves her mayo, and, she's model thin and has textbook perfect cholesterol. Life can be unfair!

@SuhseK

I certain sandwiches I use Hellman's mayo on turkey, BLT's, chicken salad, tuna).....But on Ham sandwiches I use mustard.....

Pasta Salads I make the kind that calls for a vinegar/oil dressing....

And as for your friend dipping chips in mayo---well a lot of dips have a mayo type base---

.. But I have a friend that does something worse---she dips Pizza in Thousand Island dressing....YUCCCKKK!!!!

@Spurt  Now that is odd... Why, everyone knows pizza is best dipped in RANCH dressing...  Though admittedly, only occasionally...

Up until a few years ago it was Miracle Whip which is still my very favorite, not the fat free and not the light.

But started to buy Kraft Olive Oil Mayo. It took a while to get used to it, but its what I buy now Woman Happy

Once they switched over to soy oil and added water, I was out.  Still can find some more old fashioned makes out there, but it takes looking.

Like and use both, but prefer mayo.

I laughed when I saw you're response about dipping pizza in ranch.

I love sausage pizza, and yes, I've been known to dip it in ranch dressing 😉

If that doesn't give my arteries a chance to clog, I don't know what will! So, this is a very occasional treat, but you're right, pizza and ranch!

Well, I rarely eat sandwiches because I don't want the wasted carbs/calories from the bread. When I do, it's either a little butter or a nice brown mustard.

I don't eat pasta salad either. Ever. The thought of eating cold pasta makes me gag. Same for potato salad.

My tastes have evolved over the years...

I grew up on Miracle Whil, then somehow moved to real mayo - Hellman’s, then the sugar free Duke’s brand. But I avoid  most oils so my options are limited now. I like Primal Kitchen brand (expensive but I am too lazy to spend 5 minutes making my own!) and also Sir Kensington avocado oil mayo.

@willdob3 I've made homemade, years ago and it tasted faintly like mustard.

@ECBG   Same here. I couldn’t get it to taste the way I wanted. But, for those who can, goodness, it is so fast and easy to make! Not to mention inexpensive.

@ECBG   Me, too!

I finally stopped feeling guilty about spending so much for it. I avoid most oils and not many are made from 100% avocado oil. They are pretty expensive, comparatively speaking.
