I hope the QVC executives are reading our posts. MANY shoe sites ship free and have free returns also.
There's no incentive to buy my health and beauty aids at QVC because the vendors that I adore offer their own deals and specials. HSN shops free s/h on their high end beauty items.
Variety, variety, variety, lower pricing on polyester clothing, new kitchen items and shake things up a little.
If I spend $200.00 plus on a handbag, I won't be buying from a shopping site unless it's a brand I know and trust,
The sterling silver diamonique jewelry is waaaaaaaaaay ovet the top.
If I see another comfort pair of shoes I'm gonna scream.

@sunshine45 What if the clothing is made poorly and is not worth selling? I'm sure there have been products that could not go to the outlets and be resold.
What about electronics that are made mostly of plastic? Or other items that could cause a fire?
What about bedding that falls apart after one or two washes?
Those are just a few examples of items that cannot be resold but are basically thrown in the trash and any and all profits are gone.
i dont know who judges what is "poorly made" in the clothing lines because i have seen clothing with buttons missing, holes, hanging threads, marks, pilling, stains that are sold both at the outlets and on ebay via resellers that have purchased pallets from qvc. that is why the outlets have so many great deals and why you have to spend time looking through the racks.
not sure just how much of any of the other items you mentioned "go into the trash." if you go into an outlet store you will see chipped ceramic items, defective home goods, parts missing from items, holiday items that wont light up......it is all for sale at greatly reduced prices.
the beauty items though definitely cannot be resold.
I just wonder how much of market there really is for damaged goods like that......some of what you described sounds unuseable..... Now I know someone that buy's QVC's "AS IS" items and the ones in GOOD CONDITION she sells on EBAY, but anything defective she still returns!

have you purchased from any sellers on ebay that have tons of qvc apparel? they do label their items as seconds and even thirds and mention and sometimes mark what the problem is with the garment. some pieces are as low as $5 and if i think it is something that will wash out then i have purchased.
the outlets sometimes have 75% off sales on clothing.....and that is on the marked down prices. if it is something that i think i can fix pretty easily i will buy it if i think it is worth it.

I love thrift shops and will buy used clothing especially if the garments are made well. However I will not buy clothing that is made of cheap fabrics that bleed, fray easily or fall apart no matter how cheaply its marked down.
