I stopped by Maxx after work and it seemed like everyone else did too. There were both women and men everywhere. I got a salt lamp from Pakistan and would have bought a charming Spode holiday teapot but it was made in China.

I like browsing in TJs, Marshalls and HomeGoods. I'll usually find a treasure or two.

The TJ Maxx in our small city moved to the other side of town. I think I’ve been there only once or twice since they deserted my side of the county. I loved to browse and find fantastic bargains but I won’t drive half an hour just to window shop. Now I let my fingers do the walking on my iPad.

I don't have a Home Goods or Marshalls near me which is a good thing.  I need nothing and yet I seldom leave Maxx or Ross without something I had to have. Adding Marshells and Home Goods would just be more temptation.

This late and still there was no shortage of merchandise. I expect mega-sales next week.
