So I'm sitting her watching HSN. I often switch channels between QVC and HSN. Antthony is on selling his clothes. He's always so upbeat, his personality cheers me up.

I started thinking..... (not always an easy task for me) if Antthony was on QVC who would he replace?

My guess is that he is HSN's equivalent to QVC's Susan Graver.

Skip and his Mother Borghese that sells Perlier are similar to QVC's Philosophy.

HSN's Joy Mangano is similar to QVC's Valerie Parr Hill.

You could switch all of the products over easily.

I'm going to try this to see if it can be done without verbal abuse to anyone

It's not about how good or bad the products are. It's not about their personalities.

It's just about the similarities between their products but different names.

I'm just curious to see if I'm the only person who sees the similarities.

I'm not sure what the purpose of this discussion would be. If someone likes the Q's vendors and products, they shop at QVC.

If someone prefers HSN's, they can shop there.

I agree there are similar categories, but very few if any interchangeable vendors, hosts, and products.

It's good to have both, I think.

Yep. When Joy left the Q they brought in Lori. Lessman was replaced by Taub. I believe that Susan Lucci's hair care was replaced with Nick Chavez when she went to HSN. Loved her hair products and wish they were still available.
