So, so sad.

 

This woman worked hard, was a representative of the "new-age woman"  and endured so much personal pain [health- and love-wise (the loss of her son, for instance)].  

 

May God rest her soul.  

 

One cannot help but think of Valerie Harper's health threat several years ago that marked her as the first to go among the housemates in Minneapolis.  You never know how things will work out.

I am so sorry to read of her passing.  I remember as a young girl watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show and admiring her and hoping that I could be just like her.  The show was inspiring to me,  She will be missed.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

I feel so sad, she was one of the greatest ladies in my lifetime.

CNN is doing a nice tribute.  Larry King said Mary was also very popular in Japan.  Didn't know that.
